**New scientific publication**
🚀 FPS boost balance and motor recovery in stroke patients 💡

TechnoConcept France is proud to spotlight a new scientific publication by Agnieszka Wisniowska-Szurlej, Justyna Leszczak, Justyna Brożonowicz, Gabriela Ciąpała, Héctor Hernández Lázaro, and Agnieszka Sozańska.

📖 Published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation, this double-blinded RCT demonstrates how Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (FPS) with #vibramoov technology significantly enhances postural balance and motor recovery in post-stroke rehabilitation.

👥 50 patients from Donum Corde (Poland) participated in a 4-week intensive program. While all received conventional therapy, the FPS group received also FPS eliciting kinesthetic sensations—such as trunk rotation or antero-posterior sway—encouraging patients to actively participated following the perceived movement within their balance limits.

📊 Key results:
· ✅ Balance: FPS group improved Berg Balance Score (BBS) scores by +9.4, a 58.8% greater gain than the Sham group (+5.92).
· ✅ Independence: Barthel Index (BI) scores rose by +15.2 in the FPS group, an 80.95% greater improvement than the Sham group (+8.4).
· ✅ Mobility (D420): Patients showed significant progress in self-transfers—critical for autonomy and reducing caregiver dependency.
· ✅ Daily living (D640): Marked improvement in the ability to perform household tasks, supporting a return to independent living.

🧠⚡🔁 When combined with physiotherapy, multi-segmental, synchronous FPS effectively stimulates the sensorimotor cortex, promotes neuroplasticity, and accelerates functional recovery—where it matters most for stroke survivors.
