🇫🇷 Great days at SOFMER 2026, under the blue skies of Marseille! ☀️
It was a pleasure to join our partner Médimex – Evaluation / Rééducation / Performance at SOFMER congress last week and to share many great discussions around #vibramoov and its disruptive approach to #neurorehabilitation.

From clinical practice to research projects, the exchanges highlighted the growing interest in proprioceptive stimulation and its potential across different neurological conditions.

👏 Congratulations to Sophie Julliand and Anne Mock for their oral presentation on upper-limb #spasticity after stroke, and to Laura Consigny for presenting a compelling case involving peripheral #neuropathy with severe #sensorimotor impairment.
Great to see clinical experience, research and innovation coming together around new approaches to neurorehabilitation.

🧠 Can early local muscle vibration limit spasticity after stroke?

A recent randomized, placebo-controlled study by Julliand et al. explored the effects of Local Muscle Vibration (LMV) during the early subacute phase after stroke, using #vibramoov.

👥 In 42 patients, preliminary findings suggest that LMV, combined with conventional rehabilitation, may help limit the development of wrist-flexor spasticity and support upper-limb motor recovery.

Interestingly, the results also point toward mechanisms beyond spinal excitability, potentially involving sensorimotor cortical engagement.

🦵 A closer look at our recent publication on early rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction — with the study protocol and key results summarized in this carousel.

In this randomized controlled trial involving 24 patients, adding synchronized Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (FPS) to Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) resulted in greater improvements in active knee mobility during the first two weeks of rehabilitation.

📈 Active knee ROM improved by +48.6° with CPM + FPS, compared with +31.4° with CPM alone — a 55% greater improvement.

These promising findings suggest that FPS are a valuable adjunct to conventional physiotherapy, particularly during the early rehabilitation phase when active participation is still limited.

🇩🇪 Two inspiring days in Germany!

Last week, we were delighted to hold our German-speaking #vibramoov Symposium in Bad Königshofen, bringing together rehabilitation professionals to discover the clinical applications of Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (#fps).

A huge thank you to TheraMotion Praxis für Ergo-,Physio- und Dysphagietherapie, @Maik Hartwig #ergoseminar and the entire team for their outstanding organization and warm hospitality.

The symposium placed a strong emphasis on hands-on practice. Participants worked directly with therapists and patients from the THERAMotion center to explore the Vibramoov solutions in real clinical situations:

🔹 #vibramoovpro – Gait rehabilitation, upper limb recovery and sensorimotor neurorehabilitation.
🔹 #vibramoovphysio – Fine motor training and neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation.

🚀 New scientific publication
💡 Combining #CPM and #FPS to accelerate ACL rehabilitation

We are proud to share a new scientific publication by Dr. Hervé Collado, Pierre-Yves TOURTEL, Dr. Thomas Bardot, Thibaut Fraysse, Emma PAUL, Marion Prats, Frédéric Chorin and Professor Serge Colson, published in Frontiers in Rehabilitation Sciences.

📖 This randomized controlled trial is the first study investigating the combination of Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) and Functional Proprioceptive Stimulation (FPS) with #VIBRAMOOV technology during early rehabilitation following ACL reconstruction.

👥 24 patients undergoing ACL reconstruction followed a standardized two-week rehabilitation program. While both groups received conventional physiotherapy and CPM, one group also benefited from synchronized FPS during passive CPM mobilization.

📊 Key results:
✅ 55% greater improvement in active knee ROM (+48.6° vs. +31.4°).
✅ Faster progression toward key rehabilitation milestones, with more patients reaching 90° and 110° of knee flexion.
✅ Greater gains in passive mobility and a trend toward lower pain and reduced analgesic use in the CPM + FPS group.
✅ Excellent safety profile, with no adverse events reported.

🧠 Combining CPM with synchronized FPS offers a promising new approach to enhance early functional recovery after ACL reconstruction.
